It all started back in March 2018. My lovely (now husband) Nick had just proposed and I was ecstatic. I had always wanted a September wedding, and couldn't bear the idea of waiting till the year after, so we gave ourselves 6 months to put it all together.

 

And so began the crazy planning. I had looked into hiring a wedding planner to help me, but our overall wedding budget was small, and we just couldn't afford it.​

I really loved all the planning and learnt so much on the way, but it was *a lot*. We managed to pull it off with a total spend of £7,000 (and some new grey hairs!), and the day was really memorable.

Afterwards, I began my career as a Virtual Assistant, but had definitely caught the wedding bug, and knew I wanted to plan weddings for others. In 2022, I made that happen with 'Anne Marie Loves'; affordable wedding planning for all.
